The Trellis pattern is hand block-printed using carved wooden blocks dipped in natural-toned ink and pressed by hand into cotton paper. Indigo has been used in Indian textile printing for over a thousand years. Here it appears in a geometric trellis form referencing the jali screens of Rajasthani architecture — functional, elegant, endlessly repeating.

Paper Mirchi works with Indian artisan block printers to produce pieces that carry genuine craft into contemporary everyday use. Each frame is made in small batches.

Size H25 × W20cm. Fits a 5×7 photograph. Frame: recycled greyboard clad in 100% recycled cotton paper. Collapsible. Slip-in mechanism. Pairs with dark wood, natural linen and any room that keeps things simple.
