In a world of fast, we choose slow.
We live surrounded by things made to be replaced. Polyester that sheds, colours that fade after five washes, objects with no story and no maker. Surmee is a quiet answer to all of that. We source from artisan families and small workshops whose techniques are centuries old — block printers in Rajasthan working with natural indigo and madder root, weavers whose looms have not changed in three generations. Natural fabrics. Natural dyes. Processes that are slow because slow is the only way to make something worth keeping. Each season, we place one technique at the centre of everything we do. We tell its story. We find the people keeping the craft alive.

Five hundred years old. Made in Bagru, Rajasthan. Carved wooden blocks dipped in natural dye, pressed by hand into linen and cotton that will last decades. This is block print — and this season, it is everything we do.
