The pattern is hand block-printed using carved wooden blocks — a technique practised in India for over five centuries. No two frames are exactly alike: the slight registration shifts and tonal variations that come from printing by hand are what distinguish this from anything produced by machine.

Paper Mirchi works with Indian artisan block printers to translate traditional craft into pieces designed for contemporary homes. The Floral Lattice pattern draws on botanical motifs that appear in Mughal textile and architectural design.

Size H23 × W18cm. Fits a 4×6 photograph. Frame: recycled greyboard clad in 100% recycled cotton paper. Collapsible. Slip-in mechanism. Pairs well with natural linen surfaces and other handcrafted objects.
